Building a Highly-targeted

Building a Highly-targeted Opt in List: When Money Lies Beneath the Lists

Are you successful with your Internet business? Better yet, do you think you are successful with your online business? When most online entrepreneurs are asked with these questions, they often brush it off. This is because most of them, who have not yet realize the right way to succeed in Internet Marketing, continue to believe that the mere fact that they have a website is already enough to succeed on the Internet.

The truth is, they all end up very upset because they fail to realize the secret behind the success in Internet Marketing.

Having a website is not a guarantee that your online business will succeed. How will you succeed if people will not realize that your business exist online? The key to Internet marketing is to get your business noticed.

An effective way to do this is to build an opt-in list. In fact, most of the people who are already experts in Internet marketing will tell you that building a highly targeted opt in list is the most effective and important tool in Internet marketing.

Basically, an opt in list is a list of email addresses of people who have agreed to obtain any kind of information from online businesses like you. The term “opt in” means that you have their permission to send to them whatever newsletters, brochures, or promotions that you have in your online business.

It is extremely important that you have their permission first before you send them information because unsolicited emails will be regarded as spam, and spamming is an illegal activity in the Net.

Because of the feasibility of building an opt in list on Internet marketing, most of the online entrepreneurs consider it as the most treasured tool online. They need this list in order to get the consumer’s attention and sustain interest.

By creating an opt in list, you will be able to maintain solid contact with your previous buyers at the same time boost your sales because of the fact that you have a sure target market always ready to purchase items from you.

Opt in list is considered to be the most important item in an Internet marketer. In fact, if in case something bad happens like emergencies and catastrophes and they could only save one item, it would be their opt in list saved on a backup disk.

Just imagine how these people value their opt in list. If this is the case, then it must be really something, right?

So, for people who are not yet aware of the importance of building a highly targeted opt in list and would like to know how to build them, here are some tips that could be very useful.

1. Decide on your niche market or your target market.

It is extremely important to know your target market in order to focus on something. It would be really confusing and time consuming if you will build an opt in list with no particular market in mind.

Moreover, having a niche market would bring more focus on your marketing campaigns and would derive better results because you have direct you emails to people who would most likely be interested in them.

2. Be sure that your selected target market is available in the Internet.

The mere acquisition of a niche market is not a guarantee that you can already start building your opt in list. Since, the concept of opt in list is specifically generated to aid in the growth of the Internet market of a particular entrepreneur, it is important to have a niche market that is available through the Internet.

The concept is basically simple, how can you promote your online business if your niche market is not available in the Internet? Hence, it is extremely important to verify if your target market is available online.

3. Verify if your chosen target market is income-generating market.

Building a highly targeted opt in list will just go to waste if your niche market is not generating any income at all.

Try to verify their income-generating potential through the search engines, wherein you will find some paid ads related to the keywords you have searched. This would only mean that if somebody is willing to pay to advertise focusing on the same target market that you have in mind, chances are, you will be able to reap positive results on your target market.

4. Generate solutions to the problems of your target market by using Internet forum.

Creating this type of forum will initiate the underlying solutions that will answer to most of your target market’s problem.

Through their posts and threads, you will be able to identify your target market’s problem and will be able to come up with a great solution. In turn, it will be very handy when you make your opt in list.

Indeed, the success of an online business or Internet marketing greatly depends on the opt in list. It is where the online businesses could come up with newsletters that would allow them to promote their products at the same time create the need for it. In turn, it will generate more income and make more money.

As they say, money is in the list that’s why most businesses consider opt in list as valuable as gold.

It's Great To Work From Home

Day by day the numbers joining the ranks of those working from home is increasing by leaps and bounds. Though working from home has several advantages and attractions, it has its challenges too. It is not a bed of roses as some presume it to be. When you work from home you will be quite surprised at the challenges that appear in the least expected places and circumstances. This can create disappointment and disillusionment in the minds of many a motivated and enthusiastic entrepreneur. It is better to be forewarned so that you are prepared to meet those challenges when you embark on your work from home career.

Disruption in Family Life:

Working from home will without doubt disrupt your family or domestic life in some form or other. Quite often, especially at the early stages, a room in the house occupied by some members of the family will have to be converted into a Home Office.

Your family members will have to get used to your working long hours, odder hours and probably working during week-ends and public holidays. Missing your presence during week-ends and public holidays will create a lot of disappointment and unhappiness among family members and close friends.

Distractions Hindering Work:

Domestic problems, interference from family members, phone calls from friends and relatives who would otherwise not ring you at your work place are major problems that will hinder your work when you work from home.

In addition to these, there are distractions from pets, watching television, shopping and doing household chores.

These sort of distractions can lead to loss of several working hours which could seriously affect productivity and profitability of your business from home.

Loneliness:

Working from home in home businesses such as Internet Marketing, Computer Programing, and Copy Writing can create a sense of loneliness. Sitting in front of the computer for several hours without any human contact can lead to loneliness and depression. This will be more noticeable in the case of people who are generally sociable, outgoing, friendly and enjoy the company of fellow workers and friends.

Insufficient Relaxation:

One challenge that stares you in the face day in and day out, is how well you could separate your domestic life from working life. Work will appear to be endless with little or no time for leisure when you work from home. In fact the boundary line that separates your domestic work from your home business work is often blurred. When you do an external job a clear line demarcates one from the other providing you the break to relax.

Lack of Motivation:

Most people need motivation or some sort of stimulation from their Boss or colleagues to work efficiently in their work places. When you work from home you are going to miss this. There will be no one to stimulate, encourage or even appreciate your work. You have to be self motivated to succeed and for such people working from home will be a great challenge.

Planning Restrictions and Objections:

Depending on the nature of your business from home, certain planning restriction may apply. More so if it is in a residential area. Your Landlord himself might raise objections if you are living in a rented home. This is a challenge that has to be met and a solution found before you commence work.

Conclusion:

"Challenges are what make life interesting; overcoming them is what makes life meaningful",-Joshua J. Marine.

Life is full of challenges and they have to be faced where ever you are. Working from Home is no exception. It is always better to be prepared rather than be taken by surprise. Success comes only to those who dare to face and overcome them.

Joel Comm Is Dr. Adsense

Jamie Clarkson has been online since 1995. For more information on Joel Comm and Adsense, you can go to www.supermarketingaffiliates.com
Article Source: www.iSnare.com

What is Adsense?

If you are new to making money online and net marketing, you may not know what Adsense is, much less have heard of Joel Comm. Adsense is the "Ads by Google" that appear all over millions of webpages around the net. In the past, Adsense has proved itself to be very profitable, so much so that thousands of people set up websites purely in order to have Adsense on them. In turn, these "spam" sites created a big mess for the search engines and were "slapped" down by changes in the search-engine algorithms. Many of these "black hat" sites ceased to be profitable, while the "white hat" sites have largely endured, albeit many of them experiencing a decrease in income.

The individuals who put Adsense on their websites are called "publishers," one of the more successful of whom is Joel Comm. Comm has not only made a fortune publishing Adsense, but he has also written books on the subject that have become bestsellers online and off. Comm has also created a series of Adsense template websites for others to make money off Adsense. Because of these facts, Joel Comm is nicknamed "Dr. Adsense." One of Joel's books is called "What Google Never Told You About Making Money with Adsense," 199-page behemoth chockfull of techniques and tips. Comm leaves almost no stone unturned in this book, which was updated in 2006. In fact, this "Adsense Secrets" book is so thorough as to be a bit plodding, but there's no question Joel lays down a solid blueprint as to how you can create or increase your Adsense income.

Even with all the material laying the foundation for a shot at a solid Adsense income - or, possibly, much more than that - one gets the feeling that Comm is slyly holding back some secrets. One of the major things that Comm is good at is creating popular sites, and, as is the case with all business, the more customers or "traffic" you have, the more you will make. One thing is clear: You can no longer create a bunch of low quality sites purely for the purpose of sticking up some ads to make money. With the "Google Slap" directed specifically at that type of site, you will have difficulty getting enough traffic - and the advertisers are generally paying less for "content" sites in any case. Content sites are those published by people and companies other than search engines, as opposed to search-network sites such as Google and AOL, among others.

What Joel Comm outlines in "Making Money with Adsense" will take a while to implement, but it is not impossible to make money with Adsense, even with the developments and shakeups of 2006. If you want to just cut to the chase in making money with Adsense and learning it from one competent source, Joel Comm's book revealing Adsense secrets is one of the best places to start.

If you've ever set up a service-based business or are just starting to develop one based on the advice in Part 1 of this article, you probably know this:

=> Offering a service is a lot of work and can take up quite a bit of your time.

After all, there are only 24 hours in a day and 7 days in a week. Not only do you have to spend the time working for your clients, you also do spend a lot of time in your business that you don't get paid for:

- Updating your website
- Gathering new clients
- Consulting with potential clients
- Bookkeeping
- Answering emails from non-clients

....and the list goes on.

Also remember, that if you are sick or can't fulfill your client's needs, you don't get paid. It's as simple as that.

You need to take all this into account when planning the growth of your business. Here are some tips to help you make the most of it:

1. Decide how much you want to earn and how many hours you want to dedicate each week.

Don't make the mistake of thinking that if you want to make $600 per week, you can simply work 40 hours per week at $15 per hour. Again, you have to realize that if you work on client-work for 40 hours per week there will be other maintenance parts of your business that will take you beyond 40 hours per week.

No one should have to work more than full-time hours for full-time pay. Instead, charge a bit more and incorporate your time working on other tasks into the calculations. For example, if you charge $20 per hour, you can have an extra 10 hours to work on non-client tasks and you'll still make $600 per week.

Quality people will pay quality rates for quality work. I promise!

2. Hire subcontractors.

There is no reason why you have to perform all your client's work. You can hire others to work for you to complete projects. Yes, you will have to hire them at a lower rate to ensure profit for your business, but if you pay a fair rate and treat your subcontractors well, you can acquire a loyal team of helpers.

This means you can take on more clients, can focus more of your time in gathering and maintaining clientele by making sure they receive exemplary service.

When you have more clients and potential clients to draw from, your business will likely have fewer fluctuations than if you try to do everything yourself.

3. Outsource other tasks.

Not only can you have subcontractors work on your client's work...you can hire others to complete other business tasks. Remember those website updates, bookkeeping and answering emails? Those are perfect tasks to hand over to an assistant.

Think of yourself as the manager of your company. The manager focuses on making sure things are running well and the business is growing. They don't worry about the small tasks like answering an email. They focus on the big picture. You need to look at the big picture too.

We all have hopes and dreams for ourselves and our families and I'm guessing working forever isn't one of yours. Putting these 3 simple suggestions into place will ensure that you are free to:

- Take a vacation
- Take a day off with your sick child...or just take a day off
PERIOD! :-)
- Retire some day.

Leverage the time and work of others and you’ll have more freedom in your service-based business.

If you are going to start a service-based business and want to get it going right away, I'd recommend the following:

1. Choose something where you likely have access to a client base.

For example, if you want to be a VA and already have a bunch of Internet business owners, you might have a pool of interested people. That doesn't mean you can't start from scratch in something that interests you, but realize it might take longer to get up and running.

2. Set up a website right away.

Even if it is a basic website that tells people why they need your service and a way to contact you, get that up right away. As a home business owner, you need to have an office where people can visit you. Your website is your office. You can tweak and improve it later.

3. Ask people for referrals.

If you know somebody might be in touch with your ideal client base, ask for referrals. Also, ask the clients you acquire for referrals. Satisfied clients are an amazing source of new clientele.

4. Do a great job, but don't overload yourself.

Remember, you are getting paid for the time you work with your clients, but a business has other obligations as well. You need to schedule time (or hire someone) for administrative tasks, marketing, etc.

The only thing to consider now is that if you start a service-based business, you've set yourself up with a JOB that you do from home. In part 2 of this article, you’ll find tips to turn your home job into a full-fledged business.

Web 2.0, A Guide For Newbies

http://www.theinternetone.net

A couple of years back Bill Gates introduce the idea of Convergence to the public. It was a fresh idea that later became a catchphrase for the Internet Industry. However, that promised marriage between the TV and the PC/Internet did not fully come into being.

As a result Microsoft lost millions in their MSN TV initiative. But that is all in the past. Today, the tide had finally turned. Although most people are still not quite use to the idea of surfing the Internet on their TV screens, they seem to be ready for their PC screens to be turned into televisions.

Sure, technically you could watch TV shows on any computer with a built in TV/Tuner card. But what is now driving the rapid acceptance of the TV and computer coming together is what they call Web 2.0 or the second version of the World Wide Web.

The term Web 2.0 is somewhat of a misnomer. Since The web and the Internet as a whole, is not released in such stages like in softwares. Rather, it evolves erratically as time pass on. The Internet is full of trends in technology. What is popular today may die out the next day. Or in some cases, it might evolve into something better.

So in reality Web 2.0 is not really an upgrade. Instead it refers to the current state of trends in the web. So if someone wants a Web 2.0 website, they may be referring to a website that has a popular style of design, a social component, or uses a specific technology or some combination of those three.

Take a look at how to design a site that uses Web 2.0 design conventions. First stop the page background. The background of a page is generally either very light (more common) or very dark (less common). This simply follows a good trend of making text on a page contrast highly with the background for easier reading.

A background may have stripes or something similar, but the most common aspect is a slope at the top, fading down to some other color that continues throughout the background of the rest of the page.

When it comes to logos, they tend to be very simple. Usually they contain nothing more than the name of the site. Words may be spaced closely together, along with alternating colors different words. There are only two or maybe three bright colors in the logo. The most commonly used combination is orange and blue, although green and red are not too far behind. There's usually a small reflection of the logo right below it.

Next stop is the page elements. Web 2.0 design normally displays rounded corners. If the background does not have a gradient at the top, some round-cornered area of the site will. This are set in bright colors. If there are only two or three colors in the logo, those colors are all that is used in the other elements of the page. Simple and clean, that Web 2.0's trademark!

As for the social aspect of the websites, this might come as a surprise but there's nothing has truly changed here. Once again its guest books, discussion forums and so on. The only difference is that instead of giving general feedback on the site as a whole, your site visitors can now comment on specific articles and updates. Another cool change is that your visitors can now rank individual pictures instead of just telling how much they like them.

The advances in technology make it possible for such feedback to often result in instant changes in the site. But that does not mean this was not possible before. It only meant that the current technology makes it easier to isolate and extract those people who are spamming with comments or artificially trying to raise the rank of some item. Simply put, Web 2.0 provides option for social interaction and that can go a long way towards giving visitors a sense of involvement in the site.

As for the technology associated with Web 2.0 sites it is Ajax, which stands for Asynchronous JavaScript and XML. Here is another way to look at it. Before, you would load a web page up in your browser, possibly even fill out a form, then click on a submit button. At that point, that page would disappear, and a new page would load with information based on what you had filled out and/or clicked on the previous page.

With Ajax, Javascript is used to update the page you are on without the need to load up a new page. Let's say you are on a forum board and found at the bottom of a series of messages is the reply field. You put in your reply and hit the submit button. Instead of loading up a new page with your reply on it, your reply is immediately added to the bottom of the list.

Ajax can make a website run much more spontaneously, if used properly that is. However, like everything else on the web it can be abused. So think twice before doing anything else. Also, make sure that everyone can access your website equally. You will need to include non-Ajax options for using your site as well; otherwise the traditional pages will reload.

Although most web-surfers will have no problem using Ajax, still consider that your target audience may not be a typical cross-section of web surfers. Your audience may be primarily older people that don't update their computers as often. Or maybe your audience is full of people that are likely to turn Javascript off. Just make sure you carefully evaluate whether using Ajax is worth it for your site.

So what else could we expect for the web in the distant future? A possible Web 3.0? Well, only time can tell. What's important is that you keep a close eye on the current online trends, remember these changes daily. Since a lot of users will judge your business based at least partially on how current your website appears. So give it some thought...

Work At Home and Earn Money

Information Net Source Corp. has been helping people find the perfect work at home jobs, businesses and opportunities for the last 9 years. Visit us on the web at http://www.workingfromhomejobs.com or reach one of our helpful work at home consultants at 1-800-488-5654. Let us share our work at home experience and guide you towards the right work at home position.
In today's demanding economy, many families find themselves in need of an extra income. Even if both parents work, the income is often insufficient to cover either basic needs or extra wants.

Even when one or both parents in a household earn an income sufficient enough to cover both wants and needs, we all have unexpected expenses that occur during life's journey.

For example, a child may be entering college soon and the college fund is not quite large enough. Or, a family member must be hospitalized, creating large bills and potentially a loss of income.

When these and other situations arise and the need for money is greater than usual, many people have turned to working at home after working hours. Grant writing is a frequent choice of those working from home to earn extra income.

Many people who have not explored the concept of grant writing believe that grant writing is simply for nonprofit businesses and schools who either do not have adequate funds or are in need of money to fund special projects.

Fortunately, for those who want to work from home, that belief about grant writing could not be farther from the truth.

Grant writing is a new trend among those working from home, and it has seen a tremendous boom in the last few years. There are many grants available for personal use that most people are completely unaware of. The sources of these grants are the government and private foundations. The money used for the grants is your tax money.

Grants in the amount of $500 to $500,000 are being given away at an alarming rate. Both state and federal agencies offer these grants to those who work from home.

At this point, many may be wondering the motive behind giving away money to individuals who write grants from home. Foundations and governments are not in the habit of giving out money due to the goodness of their hearts.

Instead, governments, and private foundations offering these grants, do benefit in one crucial way: Tax write-offs. When governments and private foundations approve grant requests, they are able to take the grant amount off of their profits for the year, meaning they are not required to pay taxes on the amount of the grant.

In addition, the government is encouraged to fulfill grant requests because the additional funds in the economy create additional jobs. The new employees are often able to cease dependency on government assistance programs.

Another reason private foundations offer grants is to fulfill their obligation to donate at least five percent of their assets each year. If private foundations do not meet this requirement, they lose their tax exemptions.

It may seem that receiving a grant from governments or private foundations would be akin to finding a needle in a haystack. That's another misconception.

There are around 1,000, $500 grants offered by the government alone, with many available grant funds in the billion dollar range. Even more appealing than the total dollar amount is that all grants are non-taxable.

Individuals are not the only beneficiaries of grants. Small businesses also may apply for and receive these grants for many purposes, including inception and expansion.

There are many categories of people that qualify for grants based on their status as minorities. For example, Native Americans, and those of Hispanic and Asian descent, have their own categories of grants.

An especially appealing category of grants for those working from home is the one for single mothers with children. Many single parents are in desperate need of additional funds but cannot take on a second job due to responsibilities revolving around their children.

Writing grants from home is beneficial because it is both financially rewarding and flexible. Grant writing can be done at any time of day or night and can be spread out over as many sessions as necessary.

If you are interested in grant writing as a work-at-home opportunity, there are many web sites devoted to assisting you that can start you on the path to increased financial success.

Grant writing is becoming more and more popular as time goes on. So, if you are planning to start a careet in grant writing, it would be wise to do so in a timely fashion. Grant writing has many benefits and can help most families increase their financial worth.

Top Ten Small Business

Would you like to learn more on developing your own Small Business Mastermind Adviser Group then I recommend the Think and Grow Rich book by Napoleon Hill and our audio package. Check out our Meditation Music to help you master this important program.
The statistics on small businesses going broke in the first 12 months of operation are nothing short of obscene and seriously scary. In Australia and other western countries such as the United States 70% of all small businesses fail within the first 12 months of operation but let me tell you from experience, surviving after that 12 months is no less harrowing.

After 10 years of running four small businesses and creating them from scratch I can tell you with some authority, that I did not do this on my own. In fact, I reckon I have made every mistake in the book on how not to run a small business, but yet I have still survived. The secret to staying in business is all down to being able to talk to my ten Small Business Mastermind Advisers.

My ten Small Business Mastermind Advisers are there as my support team in helping me make the right decisions. See often when we make a decision in small business, it might be right at the time but down the track it can do you a lot of harm. Having your small business mastermind advisers on call, you can simply call them and ask them the consequences of the choices you are about to make.

For example, having the right business structure and putting your business assets in the right structure will play a major roll in the success of your business when you decide to exit the business. Se e most people who go into business only ever think of the business as a job they do not look at it from the perspective of how they will exit the business when they have built it into an enterprise.

Those ten small business mastermind advisers will help you to ensure that you have met your obligations and that there are no hidden issues that might come up in the future for your business. For example, we recently chose to sell off our car cleaning business as my wife wanted to pursue something different. Because of the way I had structured some of the trademarks in my company that related to hers, when we went and sold the business it created a number of headaches in the sale process. Essentially we had to shift ownership of those trademarks to her company prior to the sale which created a number of financial costs that we have had to endure even though my company never made any money. This issue arose simply because in the early days, I did not have my 10 Small Business Mastermind Advisers to tell me how my choices would impact on me in the future.

Adviser 1: Accountant

In business today, with the complexities of superannuation, sales tax or GST, income tax and all the other taxes out there an accountant is a must. As a small business owner you need to find an accountant that is a small business specialist and is proactive in working with you.

What I have found is that some accountants will only do what you ask them to do and will not step in and give you advice if you do not ask. You want an accountant that if they see you are doing something wrong then they will tell you without you asking.

The other thing you will need to ensure is that you hire an accountant that outlines where all of their hours are going. It is very easy for you with accountants and solicitors to end up with 5 or 6 figure bills.

Adviser 2: Solicitor

The solicitor is another important Small Business Mastermind adviser. Just like the accountant you need to make sure that the solicitor is a small business specialist. The role of the solicitor is to help you with all legal issues like what structure suits what you want to achieve, do your forms and policies meet your legal obligations, like your privacy policy, recruitment policy etc.

They can also help you protect your assets and in particular your intellectual property like trademarks, copyright etc. Often small business owners do not do the basics of trademarking their business name and logos to stop other business predators using their identities.

Adviser 3: Marketing and Advertising Expert

A Marketing and Advertising Expert is a must in today's market place. I have found that with the various media types, people in the industry can get better deals than if you dealt with the media owners. For example, recently I chose a new advertising specialist to join my small business mastermind advisers because their company was able to negotiate lower television advert placements, than what I could dealing directly with the station.

Your marketing and advertising expert should have some experience in your industry and be able to show real statistics of adverts and marketing campaigns that actually achieved results. More so, they should also have a mantra of test and measure to ensure that your campaigns are giving you value for money and more so, are making you a profit.

Adviser 4: Bookkeeper

Some accountants have their own bookkeepers, but I have found that quite often they are more expensive than bookkeepers not tied into an accountant. Further to this you should always check to make sure the bookkeeper is certified. In some countries, including Australia, bookkeepers can be certified through the National Bookkeepers association or the CPA.

Your bookkeeper must be prepared to work with your accountant and if they have questions you must give them permission to speak with your accountant and more so, you need to make sure that they document all communications with your accountant.

Remember one thing, it does not matter whether your Bookkeeper or your accountant makes a mistake, ultimately, you as the business owner are responsible for your books. If they get it wrong, it will be on your head, so always make sure that you understand what they are doing.

Adviser 5: IT Person

Everybody hates computers and I am a 20 year veteran of the industry and I still hate them. Having a good IT person is essential. Most businesses today are now totally reliant on their IT Technology and if your technology goes down, the question you need to ask is, "could your business still operate?" If the answer is no, then you need to hire an IT person who will be there in an emergency.

When choosing an IT Person or company make sure they are qualified in the technology you are using. For example, if you are using Microsoft Windows technology in your office, then your IT Person should have at the very least the Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician qualification.

Adviser 6: Website and Search Engine Expert

If your business is not on the web and you are not selling products to the global market then you are making your life incredibly difficult and you are missing out on lots of opportunities. The internet is a fantastic tool for doing business but be warned there are lots of crooks out there, especially in the search engine optimization industry.

Before choosing a web builder and search engine expert ask to speak with some of their existing clients or talk to other business associates and find out who they use. I will say you should expect to pay anywhere between $1,500 to $5,000 per month for this service depending on your business and what sort of income you want to derive from the internet.

Adviser 7: Business Coach

Business Coaches, are like website and search engine experts, there are a lot of snakes out there who have no real small business experience. Before choosing a Business Coach ask them if they have ever owned a small business or if they had been a principle small business manager.

If you have been in small business for a while, then it will be very obvious to you as to which business coaches have owned businesses before going into business coaching. Their approach will tend to be more practical then something out of a book. Once again before choosing a business coach, talk to your business colleagues and see if they can recommend someone.

Adviser 8: Financial Planner

Managing your money is a major issue and most accountants will not give you Financial Planning Advice. A good financial planner will be able to help you where to put your business money, to get good growth but also to be easily accessible.

You should also have a good financial planner for your personal 401k or superannuation policy but also if you are managing an employer superannuation program. Most small business owners forget to build their own 401k or superannuation policy as they are building their business and when they get to selling their business they find they do not have enough to live on once they retire because once the business debts are paid off, nothing is left.

Adviser 9: Business Banker

Finding the right bank and right business banker is essential to succeeding in business. You definitely need to build a constructive relationship with your business banker as they will be your life line in a dire cashflow situation or if you need money for a deal you just could not let go by.

Business Bankers can also help you with other issues like leasing and hire purchase accounts, but also other facilities like merchant facilities, sales tax bank accounts etc.

Adviser 10: Insurance Broker

I learned the hard way on how important an insurance broker is to your business. The previous insurance company I dealt with did not advise me that none of the glass in my building was covered if I was broken into. I have extensive insurance, but because Glass was an optional extra, the previous insurance company did not tell me this and when we were broken into, even though I pay over $5,000 per year in insurance, I still had a $4,000 bill for all the glass damaged during a break and enter.

This particular experience really drove home, how a good insurance broker, whilst upfront might cost you more, in the future will save you more.

Just like any employee when you are putting together your Small Business Mastermind Advisers you need to interview each adviser and ensure that you are able to work with them. Further to this, to get the best advice from your Small Business Mastermind Advisers you must be 100% honest and open with them, even when things are looking dire. If you are not totally honest, then they cannot give you the advice that will help you get out of trouble.

Comparing Types Of Trade

Bob Albright has been designing and selling trade show displays since 1982. He is the primary owner of Midland Display. You can get further information about trade show exhibits by visiting the website.

Popup Displays

Popup displays are the most popular Trade Show Displays due to their light weight, small size when packed, and ease of set-up. There are literally dozens of brands in the marketplace today. Some are more durable, hence more expensive, than others. We sell several different models: from the most durable - more expensive to less expensive - more economical types.

Standard Grade Popup - includes lighter weight aluminum frame, individual channel bars, velcro (Frontrunner or Prelude) fabric panels and thermomolded shipping case with wheels. Other options available - several sizes available.

Commercial Grade Popup - includes heavy weight frame with nylon connectors, folding steel channel bars, velcro (Frontrunner or Prelude) panels and the choice of 1 or 2 thermomolded shipping cases with wheels. Other options available - several sizes available.

Photo Mural Grade Popup - A standard grade popup with the substitution of photomural panels instead of the velcro fabric panels and includes everything in the standard grade pop up. We use only durst lambda photographic film production techniques combined with HDL lifetime lamination guarantee.

Fabric Mural Grade Popup - A heavy weight popup non-curved frame with a replaceable fabric graphic mural. The fabric mural is pre-attached to the frame, making set up a breeze. This display offers a full photomural effect without a cumbersome set up procedure. It transports in a lightweight included nylon bag, hard shipping case and lights available.

Wall Frame Pop Up - This is not a true popup as it includes an easy to erect rectangular pole frame. The large format graphic is simply velcro'd along the edges allowing simple set up. It is the most economical means of achieving a full 10' photomural effect.

Panel Displays

Panel displays represent the oldest exhibit type. We sell two types, Foldable and Modular. They consist of a high density corrugated panels covered with fabric or laminates, coupled together by a hinge or extrusion between panels. Vertical pins allow the panels to be stacked in groups upon one another.

Folding Panel Displays - This inexpensive foldable panel system, while not as easily transportable as a popup display, allows for greater load bearing capability. Incorporated counter assemblies and back lighted headers give this display type more utility. Multiple colors on both sides as well as accent colors make it a handsome exhibit choice. Details Modular Panel Displays - This more expensive panel system allows for the use of laminates, backlighting, lightboxes, and far more complex form including curves, laminated curves, plexiglass windows, product alcoves, etc. While it is the most expensive and most difficult to transport option, it represents the most sophisticated exhibit type. Our modular systems remain UPS shippable and are by far the easiest to set up.

Bannerstand Displays

Bannerstands are economical means of displaying large format graphics by an "easy to transport" means. There are two types of bannerstands - rollable (manual set up) and retractable (automatic) set up. The rollable bannerstand consists of a base, pole and graphic that the user assembles prior to displaying. The retractable bannerstand has a spring loaded cassette which sits on the floor and is assemble by pulling graphic vertically out of the cassette and attaching to the pole.

Rollable Bannerstand - Inexpensive, easy to transport graphic system. Simply unroll the graphic attach the base and pole to the aluminum extrusions on the top and bottom of the graphic and you're ready to display.

Retractable Bannerstand - A bit more expensive but just as easy to transport, this system protects the graphic within an aluminum base. Simply pull the spring loaded graphic to the desired height and attach the pole.

ClickBank for Newbies Affiliate

The author who goes by the name Mr. Anonymous is famous for his straight-to-the-point NO BS, articles on various topics especially the topic on internet marketing. His website/blog is located at: http://www.scamsreviewer.com

Hard Facts - The End of ClickBank for Newbie Affiliate Marketers

When was the last time you made $500 a day using ClickBank? Was it within the past 1 or 2 months? Didn't think so. How much did you spend for Adwords/Yahoo? Was it so low that you that you just skipped a day's coffee? Didn't think so. What was your ROI (Return in Investment) after all the time spent, hassles taken, e-books from "Experts" bought and promised dreams of "Financial Freedom"? Was it high enough to quit your job? Didn't think so. Did you "Fire YOUR Boss" after joining ClickBank? Didn't think so.

Is ClickBank really what it is claimed to be? Is it really the best way to make money selling digital products in the Business-to-Business or more specifically the ever-so-popular "Internet Marketing" category? Let's clear our doubts first, ClickBank was definitely the best way to make money by have a Squeeze Page or a redirect, or cloaking your Affiliate ID, having a Review Site and having a killer Adwords Campaign. Back then, even I, getting a $500 a day from selling affiliate products was a joke but, that was in the "Google Cash" method days which took the internet by storm about 2 years ago.

ClickBank is still good for a lot of niches but again you have to understand that the fact is, the "Gravity" measure is below 20 for almost all other niche's except a very select few which shows that there is not much interest in them. Now, there are some fantastic products being sold on ClickBank. But, how many "Take Paid Surveys" or "Get Rich Quick" or "Make $500 a day" type "products" do we see DAILY on ClickBank? Let me tell you.

ClickBank's BIGGEST flaw is the fact that you can buy using your OWN affiliate ID to get a discount. This is great if you are interested in buying the product but just imagine if more than 80% of the people were to do that (which is common these days) how much do you think a normal newbie affiliate or for that matter an average affiliate would make? You guessed it, very less after the exorbitant Adwords fees. Even if you cloaked your link and masked the website with precision, a person who signed up to be a ClickBank affiliate is 99% of the time smart enough to know what he is up to when he goes to the Checkout or Order page and when he looks below to see the text "[affiliate=someone]" they will right away change it to THEIR affiliate ID, literally STEALING your commission. Is there a way to counter this? Yes, some gurus suggest there is when you increase the perceived value of the product by giving a quality review, or building a very personally bonded list, but seriously, how many more would you get with this method then normal? 4? 10? Maybe 20? (Being generous here.) Now Imagine the number of Paid Survey sites or Data Entry Job products on CB, if you look at their Earned/Sale (which is basically how much ON AVERAGE a person makes per sale after fees etc.) is so less, that most of the time if you are entitled to get $45 per sale, the average is usually around $33! This is $12! Less on average! Which means that there ate so many HARD EARNED commissions which are losing out because of ClickBank's liberal Refund Policy. Just imagine if you just put in $50 for an Adwords Campaign and got two sales totaling $73 or so in commissions and you just got a refund (to which you have no control over) you just made a loss. Now you may say a loss of just about $5-10 but if you total the amount of time, energy, testing, trial and error that took place from you part, it would be A HUGE LOSS.

Now, if you aren't making any money off of ClickBank, then WHO IS?

Let me rephrase the question, if most of the buyers are abusing the liberal "Refund Policy" of ClickBank and most of the users are trying to use their own Affiliate Hop link then who is making the money? That Link Cloaking software you purchased for quite some cash didn't tell you about Refunds or this fact. Well, you guessed it, THE MERCHANT. It is a WIN-WIN-WIN situation for him/her. Let me elaborate, even if he/she does not get a sale, he/she will get a future prospect or Lead which will either a) Opt-in to his/her list b) Get his/her name known to the world incase he/she does not have a prior portfolio and c) CASH CASH CASH. Either it is from your affiliate ID or someone else's affiliate ID, it doesn't matter, they rake in the cash no matter what and the more the merrier. D) he/she now gets to use those earnings from ClickBank he received because of people like YOU to hype up his next sales letter and his next "Proof of Earnings" Section. Now you being a disgruntled affiliate will end up bidding on Keywords for Adwords and after all the effort would still not see the results you are promised or made to "dream" on the plentiful E-books which are collecting dust on your hard drive by now. Why? Because the people who will buy from the Adwords Ads will be the people who are NOT a part of ClickBank affiliates at all, these are most probably total Newbie's who just happened to search and you know what? There aren't many of those any more, infect, it doesn't even matter, the odds of them converting are pretty rare.

So getting back to the original point. There is a trick where you make your Domain URL similar to the Official URL which works but again, only to the "Non-ClickBank viewers."

So why are the people showing all those huge checks and $$$ out of no where? Well, because these are part of the Merchant's "inner circle" that get hold of the buzz of the product's launch and are 1 week ahead of everyone. What these people do is, literally squash all the little affiliates who are not part of the "inner circle" by aggressively marketing on Adwords and sending a killer sales pitch to all their Lists and giving away bonuses and what not. These amount for more than 30% of the sales that the merchants get, often times these people are less that 10! The next kind as I said earlier are the people who buy using their own affiliate ID to get their discount to see "what this buzz is all about" and they amount to over 55-60% of the people. The remaining 10-15% is for average affiliates. Now, is it worth the effort to be part of this very little percentage and add to the fact the refund policy, merchant's bad service rapport leading to even bigger problems of the people who bought from your "review website" to ever find it credible again. Now not all of the people struggle but indefinitely, the people who do are the new guys on the game, these are the guys who have been "catching up on the gold rush" so to speak what did they end up getting? Yet, these are the guys the "Gurus" aggressively market, when I mean aggressively, these are the "target market" for them because they will spend anything to fill the gaps, to "crack the code" to "get the secret" to "beat their competition." But for how long?

These are some of the quotes that some affiliate friends I know say "This is the last e-book I will pretty much ever buy. I've had enough of this; seriously, I bought pretty much 30 e-books by now."

"The information was nothing new, not saying that it wasn't good but again, I honestly believe that gone are the days where you could use CB for affiliate products because everyone will use their affiliate ID and buy the e-book to get the discount."

Gurus claim as if being an affiliate will bring HUGE sales of their product and therefore hype up their e-book. All they would do is get sales off of newbie affiliates who haven't made a killing using ClickBank. Let me give you an example, would be able to sell a "Get rich quick" E-book to Bill Gates? Why Not? Because he is rich, he is NOT the target market. But, if you pitched the same thing to a guy who is working as a store clerk who thinks his life sucks and what are the chances of him buying? You know the answer.

The Quality of products in ClickBank is decreasing and because of high refund rates, the merchants are over-pricing their products, what would have been worth no more than $29 last year is worth more than $97 now, so that they can recuperate from the high refund rates.

Because of this, the "new" buzz is to create physical products to sell at exorbitant prices and decrease the refund rates. ClickBank means well and their refund policy is an example of that, however, the quality and honesty of their merchants is up for questioning as it's not the merchant or his/her Super Affiliates (i.e. friends from inner circle) but YOU as a common average Joe who is getting affected because, YOU are spending your energy every single day, YOU are spending your hard-earned money on advertising and YOU face the consequences if it doesn't work out. You got no one to blame at the end if you burn your money on a Scam Artist selling via ClickBank at the end of the day.

I'm not going to lie to you however, I do make enough money using other alternatives and some niche products on ClickBank but the fact is, it isn't easy, nor will it make you enough to make fun of your boss. So, it is important for you to stand up on your feet and be down to earth on your successes and accept your failures before it is too late.
